The New Howwood is a natural 9 acre loch with panoramic views over the surrounding countryside. Large numbers of natural insects and flies make the loch superb for dry fly and nymph fishing. There are three boats available for hireand the more adventurous can also use their own float tubes.
Clubs and Corporates are most welcome and with prior notice can book the loch for their exclusive use, with buffet lunch (hot or cold) being provided, if required.
Local accommodation can also be advised and arranged.
The loch is regularly stocked with fully finned, hard fighting rainbows, Browns , Tigers and Blues from 2lb to Double Figures

The facilities include a comfortable and friendly fishing lodge where tea, coffee, sweets and cold drinks are available.
